Frequently Asked Questions
We believe blockchain technology will create a better world for everyone, so we're doing our small part to contribute. At the moment that consists of verifying the identity of blockchain teams to increase confidence and trust in a project.
To build a maximum amount of confidence in your coin we recommend you verify the entire core team.
With that being said, the minimum requirement is that coins undergoing pre-sale or an ICO must verify at least three team members, with one being the team lead. Established coins with a live working product only have to verify the team lead.
For each team member that is undergoing verification, we ask for a color copy of their state issued identification (passport or drivers license) plus a clear photo of them holding a hand written sign with the date and name of this site. We check that both of these match before your verification is confirmed. This ensures the team members behind a coin consist of real people.
We're also working on a fully automated verification system that should be rolled out soon.
After verification is complete all identity documents are deleted from the server, with a copy kept in offline storage.
No. The only time your information will be shared is if we receive a valid law enforcement order from a government agency.
